Fortinet Korea said on the 27th that it successfully held the "Partner Kickoff 2026" for domestic clients on the 25th at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas.
About 350 representatives from Fortinet Korea and partner companies attended the event. There, Fortinet Korea shared its next-generation strategy to respond to the rapidly changing security market amid the spread of artificial intelligence (AI) and discussed collaboration plans to seek new opportunities.
Executive Director Kim Sung-tae of Fortinet Korea, announcing this year's channel strategy, said the company will focus on expanding sales of high-value composite solutions such as secure access service edge (SASE) and security operations (SecOps), centered on platforms. In particular, the company promised to foster specialized partners who have passed Fortinet's advanced technical certification system and to strengthen tailored support systems customized by client group, such as finance and the public sector.
Executive Director Park Hyun-hee of Fortinet Korea introduced the 2026 solution strategy under the theme "Innovation with AI, security completed with Security Fabric." Park emphasized a paradigm shift to "preemptive cybersecurity" that predicts and neutralizes threats before attacks occur and to an integrated "AI security platform," as security threats become more sophisticated with AI being used in attack techniques.
