Lotte Innovate said on the 27th that it obtained ISO/IEC 25058, an international certification that officially proves the quality and reliability of artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
The certification was carried out as part of a technical cooperation that the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) signed with CertX, a Swiss AI, cybersecurity and functional safety certification and inspection body. Lotte Innovate is the first case to obtain international mutual certification through a domestic testing and certification body.
ISO/IEC 25058 is an international standard that presents quality requirements and evaluation criteria in the field of systems and software engineering. The certification process is handled by accredited testing and evaluation bodies such as KTL.
Key evaluation items included reliability, stability and security of Aimember, Lotte Innovate's Generative AI platform. In particular, the company said it verified comprehensive quality through tests of AI performance, security, vulnerabilities, robustness and risk management.
Lotte Innovate expects that this certification will significantly strengthen the objective credibility and global competitiveness of its AI products and services. Based on this, it plans to further advance the systematic quality management framework of its own AI services and solutions.
