Dan Cham, head of Asia-Pacific marketing at Roborock, said at the "2026 New Product Launch Show" held at Cosiety in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the 26th, "This new product was launched first in the Korean market." On the day, Roborock unveiled its new "S10 MaxV Ultra" and said it would solidify its No. 1 position in the market. It comes about two weeks after Samsung Electronics introduced its 2026 robot vacuum lineup on the 11th of this month. Roborock, which entered the Korean market in 2019, is running first with a market share of more than 50% in Korea's robot vacuum market.
Roborock said it significantly improved mopping performance and suction power. The moving range of the semicircular mop pad is 27% wider than the previous model, improving corner-cleaning capability. The pressure with which the mop presses the floor is strengthened by 1.75 times, boosting stain-cleaning performance on floors. For the first time in the industry, it supports a dynamic cleaning mode that can clean carpets up to 3 cm thick. Suction power is up to 36,000 Pa (pascal), and with the "Duo Divide" main brush and the "FlexiArm Arc Side" brush, it reduces tangling of hair up to 40 cm long.
Roborock said it also focused on enhancing the robot vacuum's driving capability. The new product recognizes more than 300 types of objects while moving to avoid them on its own and can enter spaces as low as 7.95 cm, it said. Roborock also demonstrated it climbing thresholds up to 8.8 cm high on the day. Earlier, Samsung Electronics said at its new product launch that it "can climb thresholds up to 45 mm high."
The dock of the new product washes the mop with 100-degree hot water and removes 99.9% of bacteria. In addition, its 55-degree warm-air drying system inside the dock dries the entire dust path, including the dust bag and dust outlet, to reduce odors. To strengthen its security system, it also obtained the highest "Diamond" rating in the Internet of Things (IoT) security evaluation by global certification body UL Solutions.
Roborock also strengthened its after-sales service (AS) system to coincide with the launch. Starting in March, it plans to begin on-site AS for major robot vacuums. The operating hours of the 15 official AS centers run by domestic distributor Thinkware Systems Mobile were extended to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Repairs can also be accepted year-round at around 315 Lotte Himart stores nationwide.
The new product is priced at 1.89 million won (water tank type), a slight increase from the previous model of the same type (1.84 million won). The automatic direct-drain model without a water tank and wastewater tank is 2.04 million won. For Samsung Electronics' top-end "Bespoke AI Steam Ultra" unveiled this month, the freestanding (water tank) model is 1.86 million won and the direct-drain model is 2.04 million won, putting the launch prices of the two corporations' new products at similar levels.
