Igloo Corporation said last year's revenue rose by nearly 30% on strong sales of key security solutions.
On the 26th, Igloo Corporation said revenue on a consolidation basis last year was 143.257 billion won, up 28.8% from a year earlier. Operating profit came to 16.009 billion won, up 163.8% over the same period.
Igloo Corporation said results improved as the Autonomous security operations center (Autonomous SOC) business expanded and sales of major artificial intelligence (AI) security solutions increased. In particular, growth was driven by the AI-based hybrid extended detection and response platform "SPiDER ExD," which plays a core role in the autonomous SOC, along with the security operations and threat response automation solution "SPiDER SOAR" and the security-specialized AI agent "AiR."
A company official said, "These results go beyond topline expansion and prove the implementation of a technology super-gap achieved through aggressive research and development (R&D) investment and coordination between the parent and subsidiaries," adding, "We have strengthened our cloud business influence and expanded our business areas by building a technology ecosystem with subsidiary Piolink, which has data center infrastructure and network and web security capabilities."
This year, Igloo Corporation said it will strengthen the Autonomous security operations center business and deliver results in national network security framework (N2SF), zero trust, and AI transformation (AX).
Lee Deuk-chun, CEO of Igloo Corporation, said, "Last year was the first year in which Igloo Corporation captured both topline growth and sound management," adding, "Going forward, we will maximize strategic synergies with Piolink to leap beyond a simple security company and become an AI tech company that draws global attention."
