Regarding JTBC's exclusive broadcast of the "2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics," he said, "we are reviewing and preparing institutional improvement measures," and "I also personally expressed regret during the last work report about the fact that the public's viewing rights were restricted." He continued, "institutionally, revising notices or laws requires the committee to be formed, so we will work to resolve this as soon as it is constituted."
Chairperson Kim also said during the Korea Media and Communications Commission (KMCC) work report on the 10th that "under current law, the legal basis to compel broadcasting rights negotiations among broadcasters is very limited, so we are preparing legal amendments to resolve this."
