Wemade Max said on the 25th that its subsidiary Wemade Connect has officially launched the mobile healing game "Abyssrium" on Toss's mini application platform, "Apps in Toss."
"Abyssrium" is an idle mobile game released in the global market in 2016 that has surpassed 60 million cumulative downloads. The sequel released in 2024, "Abyssrium The Classic," also drew a strong response, topping the Apple App Store's popularity chart. It is characterized by offering users a sense of rest through calm background music, an emotional story, and mysterious deep-sea scenery.
The "Apps in Toss" mini app has been implemented so it can run instantly within the Toss app without a separate application installation. The user interface (UI) and controls were optimized for the Toss environment to improve accessibility and convenience.
A daily check-in event will also run alongside the launch. The company plans to boost early play engagement by offering "Vitality," a growth resource, in-game currency "Diamonds," and rare fish as rewards.
Lee Ho-dae, CEO of Wemade Connect, said, "With the launch on Apps in Toss, Abyssrium has gained an opportunity to expand into an everyday platform," adding, "We will strengthen IP competitiveness and broaden user touchpoints through expansion across various platforms."
