Samsung Electronics said on the 23rd it has launched the "Bespoke AI Ice Water Purifier," which combines powerful ice-making performance of up to 8 kg per day with AI-based user customization.
The new product can make up to about 1,000 ice cubes per day, weighing 8 kg. It also has a generous capacity that can store about 100 ice cubes at the same time.
The Bespoke AI Ice Water Purifier applies a "four-stage filter system" officially certified by NSF International, a water purifier and drinking water testing body officially approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
This filter system includes an ultra-precision filter 1,000 times thinner than a human hair, filtering out 82 types of harmful substances, from microplastics to toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and chromium, as well as microcystin. This is the highest level among countertop water purifiers released in Korea.
An "AI customized sterilization" function is applied to sterilize the direct water pipe, ice room, and ice tray by electrolysis.
The direct water pipe is sterilized every three days, and the ice room and ice tray every 30 days, removing 99.9% of Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Listeria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
In particular, it learns the user's drinking pattern to automatically sterilize during times when the purifier is not in use, and the "automatic residual water drain" function automatically discharges remaining water every four hours during long periods of nonuse to prevent microbial growth.
The direct water pipe is made of stainless steel, which is resistant to contamination and corrosion, and a "UV sterilization" function is applied to the ice outlet.
It also supports various convenience features. Through the AI voice assistant "Bixby," the purifier can be operated by voice commands alone.
In addition, from SmartThings or the product screen, the dispensing volume can be set in 10 ml increments between 50 and 1,000 ml, and the temperature can be set in 5-degree increments up to a maximum of 90 degrees.
It can store up to 20 frequently used dispensing conditions, such as coffee brewing and 38 types of ramen recipes, and the screen allows weather information checks and timer settings. "Smart lighting" is also applied to the water outlet and ice outlet.
The Bespoke AI Ice Water Purifier is available in three options: Satin Beige, Satin Grayge, and Soapstone Charcoal.
