Netmarble said on the 19th it will officially launch the new mobile idle role-playing game (RPG) "StoneAge Raising" in the global market on the 3rd of next month.
The latest entry in the "StoneAge" intellectual property (IP), "StoneAge Raising" reinterprets core elements of the original such as "pet capture" and "pet riding" to fit the latest mobile game trends. The original "StoneAge," a popular IP from Netmarble enjoyed by 200 million people worldwide, is characterized by gameplay that captures and raises various pets, including dinosaurs.
Netmarble said that ahead of the official launch, it conducted a soft launch (limited regional release) and has been improving the game's completeness based on user feedback (evaluations).
In "StoneAge Raising," users can combine up to six tamers and 18 pets to build an ultra-large deck totaling 24 and deploy their own strategies. They can also enjoy a variety of competitive and cooperative content, including the large-scale raid content "Descent Battle," where numerous pets take the field at once; "Tower of Heaven," competing for the top spot on the server; "Fish Farm," which targets opponents' harvests in real time; and "Mecha Pet Hunt," where tribe members join forces to repel invasions.
A Netmarble official said, "We are currently conducting global pre-registration ahead of the new release."
