Dyson said on the 19th it unveiled the ultra-slim wet cleaner "Pencilwash."
Dyson Pencil Wash applies water supply, contamination separation, and dirty water removal technologies. It can precisely control water output depending on floor material and degree of dirt. It can clean tightly along walls and baseboard lines.
With an ultra-slim 38 mm-diameter main handle, it is designed to fit comfortably in the hand. The total weight is 2.2 kg. The company said the weight felt in the hand during actual use is about 380 g.
You can change direction with a light twist of the wrist, and it reclines up to 170° to clean under furniture 15 cm high and in narrow spaces.
It uses a filter-free system without a dust-collecting filter. Efforts were made to reduce problems such as bacterial growth, bad odors, and cumbersome cleaning. It minimizes the possibility of filter clogging and performance degradation.
The microfiber roller consists of 64,000 high-density filaments per 1 cm² to boost absorbency. The high-speed rotating roller removes wet stains and dry debris at the same time, and continuously separates and discharges dirty water and debris during rotation.
In addition, an eight-point water supply system continuously feeds clean water so you can clean floors with clean water from start to finish.
It offers two water supply modes, allowing you to adjust the water output to the cleaning environment from light dirt to tough stains. It supplies only as much water as needed so the floor dries quickly after cleaning. A 300 ml water tank can clean up to 100 m².
The Dyson Pencilwash cleaner is slated for release in Korea in Mar.
