SOOP said on Feb. 19 it will host the "2026 VALORANT Destruction Pro-Am," where VALORANT streamers and VCT pro gamers compete together.
The tournament is a mixed event featuring 12 popular streamers representing the FPS category on SOOP and eight VCT Pacific leaguers, and will run online for three days starting Feb. 19. The total prize pool is 15 million won.
Participants include players from the VCT Pacific League's Gen.G, DRX and VL, while SOOP will field VALORANT streamers such as Beonibeoni, Kim Doenmo, Kim Gyutae, GodDead, Serena, Teuhal and Beberi. The event will be contested as a single-elimination tournament with teams of five made up of a mix of pro gamers and streamers.
Kim Doenmo, Beonibeoni, GodDead and Kim Gyutae, who have past Challengers League experience, are also seen as ones to watch for how they will perform against VCT Pacific pro gamers. With streamers and pros teaming up and building chemistry, a different style of play is expected to unfold.
All matches will be streamed live online via SOOP, and the detailed schedule and team lineups will be released sequentially through the official broadcast.
SOOP said, "We planned this Pro-Am to reflect the recent trend of expanded participation in VALORANT content by streamers across various categories on our platform," adding, "Through a tournament where pro gamers and streamers compete together, we aim to help expand the VALORANT ecosystem."
