LG Electronics' dryer was selected as the best product by the influential U.S. consumer outlet "Consumer Reports."
According to the industry on the 17th, in the "best dryers of 2026" rankings that Consumer Reports released recently, an LG Electronics model took the top spot, earning the highest marks for reliability and customer satisfaction.
Consumer Reports evaluated more than 150 dryers on performance, reliability, noise, convenience and other factors, and found that 17 of the top electric dryers and 10 of the top gas dryers were LG Electronics models.
According to Consumer Reports, LG Electronics is selling a wide range of models in the U.S. market, from value options around $540 (about 770,000 won) to premium lines around $2,000 (about 2.88 million won). Thanks to this breadth, the outlet said the company meets diverse consumer needs.
Earlier, in washing machines, LG Electronics swept Nos. 1–8 for front-load washers and placed the top 10 models for top-load washers.
Thanks in part to this, market research firm Traqline said LG Electronics ranked No. 1 in U.S. home appliance market share last year at 22% by revenue.
