Netmarble said on Feb. 12 that it will pre-release the new open-world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin on PlayStation 5 and Steam on Mar. 17, and officially launch it across all platforms, including mobile, on Mar. 24.
The company said it plans a phased rollout tailored to each platform's characteristics. It noted that it will go through fine-tuned adjustments to optimize the open world's graphics and content for each device environment.
It also reflected user feedback collected from a closed beta test conducted ahead of this schedule announcement. It refined overall systems, including improved controls, adjusted combat tempo, and optimized UI/UX.
Netmarble will hold an event on its official X social media channel to mark the launch schedule announcement. Through Feb. 17, it plans to provide Naver Pay points and more by drawing from users who follow the official channel and share related posts.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world RPG based on the comic The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold more than 55 million copies worldwide. Players can explore the continent of Britannia and enjoy tag battles, a combined-skill system, and actions based on weapon and hero combinations. It also supports multiplayer elements such as party play and boss raids.
Pre-registration is underway on the official website, Google Play, and the Apple App Store. Participants will receive rewards that help with early growth.
