Full-year growth was led by the advertising institutional sector. Full-year advertising revenue for 2025 rose 61.4% year over year to 131.9 billion won. Content-format ads based on in-house production capabilities grew 41.1%, and since the second quarter last year, the consolidation of subsidiary PlayD's results contributed to expanding ad revenue.
Last year, SOOP focused on strengthening its service foundation and shoring up the platform by expanding support for streamer creators and building an environment for simultaneous global transmission. It broadened the community base by increasing the inflow of streamers across various fields, and improved platform convenience and service competitiveness by introducing artificial intelligence (AI).
SOOP CEO Choi Young-woo said, "Last year, even amid a changing market environment, we focused on confirming the platform's fundamental competitiveness and shoring up its substance," and added, "In 2026, based on the content intellectual property (IP) and technological foundation we have secured, we plan to strengthen the basic services that streamers and users can feel and to steadily broaden the base of the live streaming ecosystem."
