Team-based PvP newcomer "Arkheron," published by DRIMAGE and in development at Bonfire Studios, is expanding its touchpoints with global users.
DRIMAGE said on the 12th that "Arkheron" will take part in Steam Next Fest (SNF), held from Feb. 23 to Mar. 2. SNF is an online event where global users can try a variety of new titles. Ahead of the event, "Arkheron" will release a demo version in advance on Steam starting on the 21st.
"Arkheron" previously checked its gameplay through a Korea-Japan community test conducted in December last year. Through its participation in this SNF, the plan is to once again showcase combat experiences to global users.
DRIMAGE, which is handling publishing in Korea and Japan, will also run influencer collaborations timed to the event period. Starting on the 22nd and throughout SNF, about 50 influencers—including Kim Seongtae, OA, Eoj Woojin, Poongwolryang, Tayo, Annyeongsuya, and Dyudan—will sequentially host live broadcasts.
Alongside this, on the 7th at Gen.G Esports HQ in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, it held "Partner Player Day" and ran hands-on sessions for users and university game club members.
Offline promotions will run in parallel. From Feb. 23 to Mar. 2, at "ZeroBack" PC cafés nationwide, users who play "Arkheron" for 1 hour will receive 2,500 points, and groups of three or more who play together for at least 30 minutes will receive 5,000 points. A giveaway event, including iPads, has also been prepared for users who add the game to their Steam wishlists.
DRIMAGE CEO Jeong Wooyong said, "Through this SNF participation and influencer collaborations, we will showcase 'Arkheron's' unique action and strategic fun to domestic users," adding, "We will use this as a starting point to further raise our profile in the Korean market."
"Arkheron" is a battle royale-style PvP game in which 45 users are divided into teams of three, for a total of 15 teams, and compete while climbing a tower. Players combine items acquired in combat to build their loadouts, emphasizing strategy in which choices change play styles and the course of battle.
