Com2uS said on the 11th that it unveiled limited-edition MD to mark a collaboration between its flagship title "Summoners War: Sky Arena" and "The Lord of the Rings™," and began global pre-order sales.
Pre-orders are being taken through the official online mall "Com2uS Store." The Korea and global shops will accept reservations from 11 a.m. on Feb. 11 to Mar. 10 Korea time, with sequential deliveries starting at the end of Mar. Thailand, Taiwan, and Europe will take reservations for about two weeks starting on the 11th local time and begin deliveries in Apr.
This MD is the first instance of Com2uS introducing collaboration merchandise using its own game IP. The company noted that it enhanced collectibility by combining monsters from "Summoners War" with the world of "The Lord of the Rings."
The lineup consists of six items: an artisan keycap set, metal key ring, playing cards, Fellowship blanket, two types of desk mats, and two types of acrylic stands. It includes both practical goods and display-oriented items.
Buyers during the pre-order period receive a 10% discount. All products include a coupon for in-game items for "Summoners War." The artisan keycap set comes with an additional special coupon that includes a Legendary Scroll, a Mystical Scroll, and more. A free gift by purchase amount and a discount event on existing products will also run in parallel.
Com2uS is continuously expanding its IP-based product lineup through its global online shop and plans to broaden fan touchpoints and strengthen brand competitiveness through this collaboration MD.
