SK Telecom's elite team has begun hiring research and development interns ahead of the second-stage evaluation for the government's independent AI foundation model project.
SK텔렠콤은 채용 공고를 통해 각각 연구개발 인턴 10명 내외를 상시 모집한다고 11일 밝혔다. 먼저 선발된 개발자부터 순차 배치하고 우수 인재 확보 시 조기 마감할 수 있다고 밝혔다.
SK Telecom will select master's and doctoral students and degree holders majoring in AI model-related fields such as computer engineering, electronic engineering, and mathematics through the end of June. Selected interns will handle core practical tasks including performance evaluation of the elite team's foundation model "A.X K1," data processing, model optimization, and large language model training.
Meanwhile, the elite team held a strategy workshop on the 5th at SK Telecom's headquarters in Euljiro, Seoul, to review its response strategy for the second evaluation. About 100 people, including SK Telecom, Krafton, 42dot, Rebellions, Liner, SelectStar, and research teams from Seoul National University and KAIST, attended to share development experience with a 5190억개 (519B) parameter model and discuss ways to leverage achievements in derivative model diffusion and multimodal, mathematical reasoning, agent, and robot training.
