Wemade Play said on the 9th that under consolidation in 2025 it posted revenue of 125.3 billion won, operating profit of 10.7 billion won, and net profit of 21.4 billion won.
Revenue rose 4% from a year earlier, and operating profit, with the profit trend taking hold, recovered to triple digits for the first time in five years. The company said its focus on expanding global business and on cost efficiency–driven sound management led to improved results.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, results were revenue of 32.2 billion won and operating profit of 3.1 billion won, up 1% and 65%, respectively, from a year earlier. However, due to one-off expense effects, it posted a quarterly net loss of 500 million won.
Subsidiary Playrix continued its growth, centered on overseas markets. Playrix recorded 76.7 billion won in revenue in 2025, up 14.5% from a year earlier, and posted operating profit of 7.6 billion won. Net loss came to 900 million won.
Wemade Play plans this year to launch new casual games targeting the global market and to push overseas B2B expansion led by subsidiary Playrix. It said it will pursue revenue source diversification through new businesses such as exporting slot games.
Chief Executive Woo Sang-jun of Wemade Play said, "As we have stabilized a profit structure, this year we will focus on securing growth drivers," adding, "We will continue mid- to long-term growth through global new titles and expansion of subsidiary businesses."
