NHN Commerce said on the 5th that it will strengthen shopping mall operational stability by providing SSL secure server functionality and a staging server free of charge to stores that use its shopping mall development solution, Godomall.
NHN Commerce completed building an automatic SSL secure server application system for Godomall stores in Jan. SSL secure servers are a security technology that encrypts personal information and payment data exchanged between a website and users for safe transmission, and all websites that handle personal information are required to implement them.
Sellers using Godomall can apply the SSL secure server immediately by connecting a domain without a separate application or additional expense. In particular, with the international standard validity period of SSL certificates set to be shortened to 200 days starting in Mar. 2026, Godomall adopted an automatic certificate renewal method to preemptively block security gaps or service interruptions caused by missed renewals.
Along with this, NHN Commerce has been sequentially introducing a staging server environment to Godomall stores since Jan. A staging server is a test server configured identically to the actual service environment, helping verify new features or configuration changes in advance without affecting the shopping mall in operation.
Using a staging server can prevent unexpected errors and failures that may occur during feature deployment in advance, and even if problems arise, it helps manage operational risk by enabling quick identification of the cause through log analysis.
An NHN Commerce official said, "We are continuously advancing security and the overall operating environment so that Godomall stores can run their shopping malls in a more stable environment," adding, "We will continue to provide a reliable commerce infrastructure so sellers can focus on business growth."
