SOOP said on the 5th that it selected "team-specific supporter streamers" who will run cheering content on behalf of each LCK club.
The supporter streamers were chosen for seven LCK clubs that signed partnerships with SOOP. Streamers including T1 Lee Sang-ho and DN SOOPers A-ddung will produce cheering content and LCK-related broadcasts focused on each club.
Starting on the 6th, SOOP will apply club-only chat window skins and emojis to supporter streamer broadcasts. Viewers can join the cheering with streamers and other fans in a chat environment that reflects the identity of their supported club. Neutral skins will be applied to general broadcasts that are not supporter streamers. The supporter streamer broadcasts will also run drops events that offer club merchandise and photocards.
Selected streamers will receive an official supporter certification badge, and related broadcasts will be featured in a dedicated area on the esports page. Club products will be linked to the LIVE player and ad balloons so viewers can purchase items while watching.
Supporter streamers will also receive a supporter kit consisting of a uniform with players' autographs and an official certificate. There will be opportunities to join offline viewing parties and club events, as well as to co-produce content with active players. Rewards will be provided based on activity performance and club results.
SOOP plans to expand this supporter system beyond the LCK to major leagues such as FSL (FC Online), VCT (VALORANT), and PWS (Battlegrounds).
