Samsung Electronics said it will take part in the country's largest architecture expo, "2026 Korea Build Week," which will be held for four days from the 4th at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.
Samsung Electronics will showcase a 59.5-square-meter modular dwelling that applies a "modular home solution" based on artificial intelligence (AI) home, in collaboration with Space Production Studio, the country's largest wooden modular dwelling company.
The modular dwelling on display this time consists of seven spaces in total: entryway, laundry room, kitchen, living room, dressing room, bedroom, and security.
Visitors can directly experience the latest AI home features applied across daily life here, from returning home to rest, sleep, and safety management.
It also offers an energy solution for residents of single-family dwellings, who bear higher heating and cooling costs compared with apartment housings.
When using AI saving mode by connecting with SmartThings, energy can be reduced by up to 60% for washing machines and up to 30% for air conditioners, tailored to device usage patterns and the surrounding environment.
Yang Hye-sun, vice president of Samsung Electronics' DA Division, said, "We will continue user-centered residential innovation through modular home solutions that can be flexibly applied to various housing types."
