NHN Cloud said on the 4th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SK Securities on the 3rd at SK Securities' headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to cooperate on cloud and AI transition. Executives of SK Securities and officials from NHN Cloud attended the signing ceremony.
Through this agreement, the two companies will review ways to use the cloud suited to the financial sector, and will push forward step by step with cloud-based innovation and a mid- to long-term direction for AI transition. In the process of enhancing SK Securities' AI capabilities, they will seek to streamline work using cloud technology and strengthen service competitiveness, and jointly explore new business opportunities.
To make AI transition in the financial industry a foundation for sustainable growth, the two companies will jointly build the necessary technology environment and cooperate on strengthening internal capabilities so it can be used in the field. NHN Cloud will provide a stable cloud infrastructure and technical support that meet financial sector requirements, and SK Securities plans to gradually expand the scope of cloud and software as a service (SaaS) based on its financial business and IT operations experience.
As part of this, they will also review adopting the SaaS collaboration service Dooray!, which can be introduced to internal networks in the financial sector. Through this, they plan to meet the strict security requirements essential for adoption in finance while improving work productivity and efficiency.
