HANMI Semiconductor said on the 4th it will open a new office in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.
By expanding and opening the Cheongju office, HANMI Semiconductor plans to strengthen its capabilities across customer service staffing, equipment operation, and maintenance support.
Earlier, HANMI Semiconductor strengthened its services by opening the Icheon office in 2025 near SK hynix's production facilities. It also launched and is operating "Silver Phoenix," a dedicated TC Bonder 4 team composed of about 50 skilled semiconductor equipment specialists and 30 eco-friendly hybrid vehicles, to respond quickly to SK hynix's technical requests.
A HANMI Semiconductor official said, "We will further solidify our customer and technology partnerships through the Icheon office and the Cheongju office, both located near SK hynix's production facilities, and respond preemptively to the needs on advanced semiconductor production lines."
