Kakao Friends on the 4th released goods made in collaboration with the leading battle royale game "PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS" (hereinafter Battlegrounds).
The collaboration goods feature Kakao Friends' popular characters Chunsik, Ryan, and Jordy in products that reflect Battlegrounds' military concept. The 12 items in total include practical products usable in daily life, such as ▲ plush toys ▲ keyring plush toys ▲ LED figures ▲ keycap keyrings ▲ stainless steel mugs.
In particular, products that creatively capture key in-game scenes and objects stand out. Examples include Chunsik in a drop-zone descent pose, Ryan camouflaged in a ghillie suit, and in-car items that reflect vehicle combat elements.
The goods are available for purchase at Kakao Friends Shop, KakaoTalk Gift, Musinsa, and PUBG Seongsu Route Store, among others. At the Hongdae flagship store, a Battlegrounds field-mood display and photo zone are set up to offer visitors a special experience.
Kakao said it plans to continue offering differentiated character experiences through collaborations with global IPs.
