LG Innotek said on the 3rd that it will showcase vehicle lighting innovation technologies at the 39th DVN Lighting Workshop in Munich, Germany, on the 4th–5th (local time).
DVN is an authoritative trade media outlet and academic organization in the auto parts industry headquartered in France, and holds lighting workshops each year in various parts of the world where global automakers and auto electronics corporations share industry technology trends.
LG Innotek will set up a dedicated exhibition booth during the event and unveil the latest Nexlide product lineup.
They include Nexlide Air, optimized for thin and lightweight bumper and grille lighting by applying an ultra-lightweight silicon-based material, and Nexlide Pixel, which drastically improves resolution by reducing the lighting pixel size to 2 mm × 2 mm, one of the smallest in the world.
Nexlide Pixel can display everything from basic text to images in high definition through vehicle lighting, and is regarded as a product that upgrades V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication capabilities.
For example, in an emergency, it can use a lettering feature to alert the outside to the situation inside the vehicle, or display a custom-made emoticon to express the driver's personality. The product won an Innovation Award at CES 2026, the world's largest electronics show, held last month.
Nexlide Cube, which renders light in three dimensions with an effect that makes it appear to float in midair, and Nexlide C+, which shows different images depending on the viewing angle, will also be on display.
LG Innotek plans to accelerate its push into the local market by linking a roadshow for major European automaker clients after the event.
Through this, the company plans to grow its vehicle lighting business into a trillion-won-level operation by 2030.
LG Innotek has been rolling out various promotions to penetrate the European market, including hosting a Car Lighting Solutions Webinar for European automaker and auto parts clients last year.
