LG Display said on the 1st that it held the "2026 co-prosperity new year gathering" at its business sites in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, attended by President Jeong Chul-dong and other key executives, along with representatives from about 70 core parts and equipment partners.
The co-prosperity new year gathering is an event where LG Display and its partners strengthen mutual cooperation for fair trade and co-prosperity, and it is held annually on a regular basis.
At the event, under the slogan "Let's increase the speed of innovation and build a sustainable future together," LG Display shared key tasks for co-prosperity with partners, including ▲ strengthening cost competitiveness based on technological innovation ▲ securing supply stability ▲ developing future technologies and managing related supply chains.
It also directly explained this year's strategic direction by business division, forecast the display market environment and industry trends, and discussed ways to secure business competitiveness.
In addition, it presented the "Best Partner Award" to major partners that joined efforts for co-prosperity last year and delivered outstanding results.
In his greeting, Jeong Chul-dong expressed gratitude, saying, "Looking back at the past year, despite a highly uncertain global economic environment, we were able to see good results thanks to sincere communication and close collaboration with our partners."
