ESTsoft said on the 30th that downloads of its mobile productivity app "ALPDF Mobile" surpassed 100,000 eight months after its official release.
ALPDF Mobile is an app that adapts the PDF editing and conversion features of the PC ALPDF for mobile, and it has steadily grown its user base through upgraded features and improvements to the user interface and experience (UI/UX) since launch. The company noted that updates focused on the mobile work environment, including tablet-only UI support, have increased usability.
Growth accelerated in July last year with the addition of AI features. At the time, the company introduced an "AI PDF summary" feature that automatically summarizes document content and launched globally in 177 countries. In October, it added an "AI PDF chat" feature that enables Q&A based on PDF documents, expanding the app's scope from simple document viewing to a productivity tool that supports document work and information search.
ESTsoft plans to further advance its AI features and step up its push into overseas markets based on ALPDF Mobile's performance. It also plans to roll out marketing activities in stages to expand its global user base.
An ESTsoft official said, "100,000 downloads of ALPDF Mobile shows demand for PDF editing and AI-based document use in mobile environments," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our service competitiveness through feature improvements and responses to global markets."
