Studio Kingdom, a development studio of Devsisters, said on the 29th that the mobile role-playing game (RPG) Cookie Run: Kingdom, which it developed, will hold a fan festival, "Rally of Fate," for two days from the 31st to Feb. 1 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, to mark the 5th anniversary of its launch.
"Rally of Fate" is an offline event themed on "Dark Cacao Cookie," the core narrative of the Cookie Run: Kingdom universe, and the stories of the cookies surrounding it, and will be held on the largest scale in the history of the Cookie Run series. The event will be about five times larger than last year's 4th anniversary event, spanning about 7,000 pyeong, and will center on stage performances, exhibits, and participatory content.
The venue will be decorated with a motif of Dark Cacao Cookie's stronghold, featuring a large Dark Cacao Cookie statue and exhibition spaces themed on Ancient Cookies and Beast Cookies. This will allow visitors to experience the in-game universe in an offline space.
During the event, stage programs featuring the Cookie Run: Kingdom voice cast and developers will take place. A talk show with voice actors who played major characters, including Nam Yu-jung, Kang Su-jin, Jung Mi-sook, and Kim Seung-jun, will be held, along with a developers' talk with CEO Jo Gil-hyeon, CIPO Lee Eun-ji, and PD Kim Yi-hwan to discuss the game's development process and future direction. In addition, various stage programs such as performances, a cosplay event, and an OST performance are prepared.
User-participation content will also run on site. In the experiential zones divided into the Ancient Cookie camp and the Beast Cookie camp, interactive content and mission-based games will allow visitors to experience Cookie Run: Kingdom's battles and narrative firsthand.
At the goods store, a variety of official merchandise, including limited items commemorating the 5th anniversary, will be sold, and side programs such as an F&B collaboration zone, a user-participation market, and photo spots will also operate.
Devsisters plans to use this event to expand the Cookie Run: Kingdom universe and its user community offline for the game's 5th anniversary and strengthen touchpoints with fans.
