Com2uS Holdings said on the 28th that through the Blockchain mainnet CONX, in which it participates, it has presented a "circular real-world asset (RWA)" model that links the web2 and web3 environments.
Recently, the global Blockchain market has been expanding beyond a virtual-asset-centered structure to the use of RWA and security token offerings (STOs) based on real-world assets. As financial institutions drive the digitization of traditional assets such as Government Bonds and funds, Com2uS Holdings proposed a utilization model that differs from existing RWA structures.
Whereas existing RWA transferred already existing real-world asset to the Blockchain and handled ownership partitioning, CONX's circular RWA newly produces a real-world asset from the idea stage and then manages the revenue generated from that asset again in the form of digital rights.
In this model, ideas proposed by the web3 community are produced into actual artworks or products, and the settlement rights to the revenue generated by the real-world asset are tokenized. The focus is on structuring the production and settlement processes rather than the asset transaction itself.
Com2uS Holdings is carrying out the CONX Arena project to validate the structure. It previously held the "Nom Arena" game contest using its own intellectual property (IP), and is currently running an art project in collaboration with pixel artist Ju Jae-beom.
Ju Jae-beom Arena is structured so that, based on ideas proposed by the community, the artist produces a physical work and the revenue generated by the work is distributed among participants. After the work is completed, the rights to revenue distribution are managed on a Blockchain basis.
Revenue settlement applies ODL (On-chain Distribution License), an on-chain automatic settlement specification developed by Com2uS Holdings, and settlement is conducted through stablecoins. The system is designed so that settlement details and distribution ratios can be checked within the system.
Com2uS Holdings said, "We are reviewing a structure that links real-world asset and digital rights based on CONX, and we plan to further validate use cases that connect cultural content and financial infrastructure going forward."
