Krafton said on the 28th that it will conduct a community test for the new title Project Zeta, which Nirvanana Studio is developing, and will recruit participants.
Project Zeta combines the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre with action elements. Three users form one team, with a total of five teams (15 players) competing simultaneously, aiming to secure the "Prism," the key object on the battlefield.
Designed to emphasize split-second decision-making and teamwork over aim accuracy, each match lasts about 20 minutes. It forgoes the typical "laning phase" structure of traditional MOBAs to increase the frequency of skirmishes. Cross-play between PC and console will also be supported.
The community test will run on Steam, the global game distribution platform, starting on the 4th of next month. Participants are being recruited on the official Project Zeta preregistration page, and anyone interested in MOBAs or team-based competitive games can apply.
This test will adopt an open development approach that discloses the development process externally. Participation is available without a nondisclosure agreement, and sharing gameplay videos and personal streaming is permitted. The development team plans to disclose test results and user feedback and reflect them in the development process.
Kim Nam-seok, head of Nirvanana, said, "This community test is a process to reflect user opinions from the early stages of development," adding, "Based on actual play experience, we will check the game's direction and level of polish."
Meanwhile, Project Zeta will begin with this community test and then aim for a global early access launch in the second half of this year after improving its completeness. Detailed information on the test schedule and how to participate will be provided through the official preregistration page and community channels.
