Samsung Electronics said on the 25th that its The Frame Pro TV won an innovation award from CNN Underscored, the product review outlet of the major U.S. media outlet CNN.
CNN Underscored selects innovation award winners through expert analysis and real-world testing of products across categories including home goods, beauty and travel.
On Samsung Electronics' The Frame Pro, it said, "By eliminating messy cables and delivering powerful picture quality, it serves as a high-quality display and also as a frame for artworks," adding, "It is the first art TV to practically realize 'gallery-like minimalism,' going beyond the limits of existing art TVs."
Regarding the Wireless One Connect Box, which wirelessly transmits video and audio signals, it said, "You only need to connect power, with no messy cables or bulky accessories attached to the display," and "You can achieve a floating design that makes the screen look as if it is suspended in midair."
CNN Underscored also said of The Frame Pro's picture quality, "With greatly improved contrast and brightness, it offers stable picture quality not only for viewing artworks but also when watching TV or movies."
Samsung Electronics showcased the The Frame lineup at CES 2026, the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition, held in Las Vegas earlier this month.
At the time, the U.S. business outlet Business Insider selected the 98-inch The Frame as one of the "most anticipated display trends in 2026," and the U.S. IT review outlet Gadget Match also named the 98-inch The Frame one of the "best of CES 2026." In addition, U.S. IT outlets Residential Systems and Gadgety selected The Frame as a best of CES product.
