The Ministry of Intellectual Property said on the 25th that it published and distributed "Patent filing strategies for CEOs and researchers" for corporations' chief executive officers (CEOs) and researchers preparing patent applications.
It noted that the focus is on helping Korea's corporations and research institutions, which struggle because they are unfamiliar with related systems, secure solid domestic patents and steadily obtain global patents in key markets such as the United States.
Specifically, it consists of: ▲ methods for reviewing patentability through prior art searches ▲ methods for drafting claims for revenue-generating patents ▲ strategic use of patent systems such as prioritized examination and deferred examination ▲ methods for using international treaties to secure foreign patents, and it was published by organizing strategies that can be applied immediately at the actual filing stage, rather than focusing on complex statutes or case law.
The materials (files) can be viewed and obtained through the Ministry of Intellectual Property website, and they will be placed at the Ministry of Intellectual Property customer support office and the Seoul office so that users who need them can easily use them.
