Motorola Korea on the 22nd unveiled in Korea the new edge series model combining an ultra-slim design with powerful battery performance, the motorola edge 70. The official launch price is 550,000 won (including VAT). Even amid the recent rise in RAM prices, the company set a reasonable price to strengthen its price competitiveness in the slim phone market. The product goes on sale through KT starting on the 22nd.
The motorola edge 70 measures 5.99 mm thick and weighs 159 g, making it the thinnest and lightest among the company's products in its class. It pairs an aircraft-grade aluminum frame with a rear finish inspired by nylon for a modern yet warm feel, and applies Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front to ensure durability despite its slim profile.
Despite the ultra-slim design, battery performance is strengthened. The 4,800 mAh high-capacity battery using silicon-carbon technology lasts up to 38 hours under mixed use and up to 29 hours of continuous video playback. It supports both 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging, expanding choices depending on usage environment.
The camera is also a differentiator. With three 50-megapixel sensors, it captures 4K video and delivers rich contrast and detail with expanded HDR coverage across various lighting conditions. It applies OIS (optical image stabilization) and enhances natural color and finish with Pantone color and skintone certifications and a moto ai-based photo enhancement engine.
For performance, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile platform, boosting AI processing and overall GPU and CPU performance. The 6.7-inch PoLED display supports up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also meets the U.S. Ministry of National Defense military standard MIL-STD 810H and the IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings for durability.
The motorola edge 70 is available at KT stores nationwide and on KT Shop, and the domestic colors are Gadget Gray and Lily Pad.
