CJ OliveNetworks said on the 22nd it recently won a series of IT contracts in the broadcasting and media sector.
CJ OliveNetworks won MBN's "next-generation newsroom computer system (NRCS) construction project" and began full-scale system upgrades. The goals are to build user-centered news, scheduling, and advertising systems; create a secure smart-work environment through stronger security; and support a systematic project management system.
The company plans to implement the newsroom information system's artificial intelligence transformation (AX) by pushing four differentiated strategies: securing project expertise through a team of broadcasting and media specialists; innovating user-centered digital workflows; building a security framework based on access control; and supporting customer-led change management.
It also said it successfully carried out an upgrade project for the broadcasting system at "LoL PARK," the esports arena for the popular game "League of Legends (LoL)." The project upgraded aging esports broadcasting equipment—such as camera systems, real-time communication devices between players and commentators, and real-time transmission equipment—to new broadcast gear. The company said it "implemented a clearer and more vivid, immersive viewing environment."
Broadcasting and media IT services, one of CJ OliveNetworks' core businesses, cover the entire process from planning, consulting, and development to networks and infrastructure construction. It currently has a team of about 150 specialists by field and has experience building a broad range of broadcast systems, including newsroom systems at major domestic broadcasters, digital archives, content management systems (CMS), and distribution platforms.
