LG Electronics said on the 20th it will launch the all-in-one clothing care solution "LG System Ironing," which combines a steam iron, a handy steamer and a styling board (ironing board) into one, on the 26th.
LG System Ironing is a product designed to reduce concerns about fabric damage while enhancing ease of use so anyone can iron easily. With fine high-pressure steam emitted from the steam iron and handy steamer, it quickly smooths wrinkles deep in fibers without leaving moisture, and disinfects harmful bacteria by up to 99.99% at high temperatures. In particular, it offers seven dedicated courses that adjust steam temperatures by fabric type such as cotton, wool and rayon to minimize fabric damage.
To reduce the inconvenience of clothes sticking to the board or creasing as they drag under the iron during ironing, the product includes an "Active Styling Board" function. A fan built into the styling board blows air to float garments or draws in air to hold them in place, allowing even thin, airy fabrics to be ironed stably. The styling board cover can be detached for washing, and the board can be folded vertically.
It also considers ease of operation and movement. The height of the styling board can be adjusted with electronic buttons, and the 4.3-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) touch display on the board allows users to set steam temperature, air strength and ironing course. Four wheels on the base let users move and use it anywhere in the home.
The shipping price of LG System Ironing is 2.99 million won, while the five-outfit LG Styler Objet Collection model is 1.59 million to 2.69 million won and the three-outfit model is 1.49 million to 1.84 million won.
