ESTsecurity Corp. said on the 20th that it is launching the official Arm server–supported version of Alyac Linux Server and will ramp up its security strategy to respond to changes in next-generation server infrastructure.
As AI, AX (AI transition), cloud, and Edge Computing environments spread, Arm servers with power efficiency and scalability are emerging as the next-generation server platform, and server infrastructure is rapidly shifting from an x86 and x64–centric structure to a multi-architecture environment that includes Arm. As a result, security also needs a response system that goes beyond a single architecture to account for diverse server structures.
ESTsecurity Corp. expanded the scope of server security, previously limited to x86 and x64 environments, to Arm-based infrastructure by officially supporting the Arm environment for Alyac Linux Server. This laid the groundwork to provide the same level of security and operational stability even in multi-architecture environments.
This official support for Arm servers is a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with AccessLab on the 6th for joint development of Arm-based cloud security technology, and is seen as a step to make compatibility verification and technical integration for Arm server environments more concrete.
An ESTsecurity Corp. official said, "In an environment where server architectures are diversifying, it is becoming more important for security to assume a multi-architecture approach," and added, "Through the official Arm server support for Alyac Linux Server and cooperation with AccessLab, we will help customers build stable and efficient next-generation server infrastructure."
