Webzen said on the 20th that it will offer a pre-download service a day before the official launch of its new open-world action RPG Dragon Sword.
Set to begin official service on Jan. 21, Dragon Sword is a domestically developed open-world action RPG featuring combat based on combo action unfolding in an open world. It is designed to enhance control accessibility so anyone can easily pull off high-level action.
This pre-download is intended to minimize inconveniences that may occur due to a concentration of users on launch day. Dragon Sword supports mobile and PC cross-platform play at launch, and users can pre-download on their preferred platform.
Starting at 2 p.m. on the 20th, the mobile version can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and the PC version can be used by installing the Webzen launcher via the official brand website and community.
Meanwhile, pre-registration, which lets players start the game with various benefits, closes at noon the same day. Users who pre-registered through the official brand website can receive premium rewards such as the character summon ticket "Glistening Goddess Stone," and those who registered through major app markets and the Kakao Games pre-registration channel can receive in-game items and prize benefits.
