EMRO said on the 19th that its in-house developed procurement management solution "Caidentia" has obtained the global security certification "SOC 2 Type 2."
SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) is a global security certification established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that comprehensively evaluates and verifies the level of customer data management and information security controls of cloud-based service providers based on five criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. It is a certification used as a key criterion when global corporations select service providers.
After obtaining the "SOC 2 Type 1" certification in April last year, which verifies the design suitability of security control frameworks, Caidentia has now been officially recognized through the "SOC 2 Type 2" certification for effectively implementing those controls in actual operating environments.
As the cloud transition of corporations' core operations accelerates and the importance of data security grows, this certification demonstrates that Caidentia meets global-level security standards. EMRO plans to use this to strengthen Caidentia's credibility in overseas markets and to expand its customer base.
An EMRO official said, "In the global market, there are more cases where SOC 2 certification is required as a prerequisite for service contracts," and added, "Through this SOC 2 Type 2 certification, not only Caidentia's excellent procurement management capabilities but also the reliability and stability of the service have been recognized."
