Vim Mobility said on the 19th that it will run a "no parking on braille blocks" campaign with Incheon City to create a safe walking environment and spread proper electric scooter parking practices.
The campaign was planned to prevent unauthorized parking of personal mobility (PM) devices on braille blocks and to inform residents about proper parking practices. Vim Mobility and Incheon City will attach "no parking on braille blocks" stickers to electric scooters to naturally guide users to recognize proper parking.
A Vim Mobility official said, "Because electric scooters are a convenient means of transportation, a parking culture that considers the residents who share them is more important than anything else," and added, "We will continue efforts to protect pedestrians with mobility challenges, including those who rely on braille blocks, and to improve parking practices through cooperation with local governments."
