The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post said on the 19th that it will recruit the "2026 16th Post Office Deposits college supporters" for college students nationwide through Feb. 4.
Eligible applicants are students currently enrolled in domestic universities or on leave of absence, and they should download the application form from the Post Office Deposits website and submit it to the regional post office administration with jurisdiction over their universities (see the attached poster or website). A total of 65 people will be selected through a first-round document screening and a second-round interview.
The final supporters will produce promotional content, in connection with professional firms, to promote various financial services and campaigns of Post Office Deposits for seven months from March to September. They will also have opportunities to participate in planning new deposit products, conduct online (social media) activities, and take part in field experiences. Supporters will receive a set activity stipend, and various benefits, including certificates and awards, will be given to teams and individuals who post outstanding results during the activity period.
Since selecting the first class in 2011, 884 people have participated in various activities in the field of Post Office Deposits. Korea Post said the Post Office Deposits supporters program has helped college students nationwide better understand Post Office Deposits and directly promote its services and campaigns.
Gwak Byung-jin, acting head of Korea Post, said, "The college supporters program is a good opportunity for college students who aspire to become finance professionals to gain practical experience and fully demonstrate their abilities," adding, "We hope many passionate college students who will inject new energy into Post Office Deposits show interest and apply."
