Krafton said on the 16th that it will begin preorders for three physical console editions of the rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush. The preorder will be carried out in partnership with U.S. game package distributor Limited Run Games.
Hi-Fi Rush is a rhythm action game in which combat and action unfold to the beat of the music. It has an "overwhelmingly positive" rating on the Steam distribution platform, and won best audio design at The Game Awards (TGA) 2023 and the animation award at the 20th British Academy Games Awards (BAFTA Game Awards).
The physical packages unveiled this time come in three versions depending on the contents: Rhythm Edition, Smidge Edition, and Project Armstrong Edition. The Rhythm Edition includes a physical game disc and case, a booklet, and three downloadable content (DLC) costume packs. The Smidge Edition adds a three-disc soundtrack CD with developer notes and a storage box themed after the game character Smidge.
The top-tier Project Armstrong Edition includes, in addition to the Smidge Edition contents, a miniature guitar replica of protagonist Chai, an 8-inch plush of mascot character 808 the robot, and a 90-page hardcover art book. A certificate with a unique serial number is also included.
The release platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Preorders will run from the 17th to Mar. 2 through the official Limited Run Games website.
