LG Uplus said on the 14th it released a new internet plan, "SOHO safety compensation," aimed at preventing financial damage to small business customers.
The "SOHO safety compensation" plan automatically blocks access to suspicious sites such as smishing, phishing, and quishing, and provides compensation and in-store device repair support if damage occurs. Targeting small businesses that frequently access external sites, the plan includes this feature to minimize exposure to harmful sites and protect customers' safety.
The plan is offered at speeds of 100M, 500M, and 1G. With a three-year contract, 100M costs 25,300 won per month, 500M costs 36,300 won, and 1G costs 42,900 won. Subscribers to the 500M and 1G plans can receive up to 3 million won per year in compensation for financial losses caused by smishing or phishing, and 1G subscribers can receive up to 500,000 won per year for electronic device repair costs.
In addition, the 500M and 1G plans support simultaneous connections for up to 10 PCs, reflecting demand in various industries that use multiple PCs. All subscribers can also receive "Giga Wi-Fi 6" and "U+ Sajangnim Square" benefits for free.
