Suprema said on the 13th that it took part in Intersec 2026, the Middle East's largest security exhibition, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from the 12th to the 14th, unveiling artificial intelligence (AI)-based security solutions and new products.

At this exhibition, Suprema showcased a range of AI security technologies centered on BioStar X, optimized for on-premises environments, and the cloud-based access control platform BioStar Air. BioStar X is an integrated security platform applicable from small business sites to large enterprises, designed to manage access logs, video monitoring, alert functions, and more from a single screen. BioStar Air is a 100% cloud-based platform that can be adopted without building separate servers, enabling management of access control systems via web and mobile even in multi-site environments.

Also on display were the on-device artificial intelligence (AI)-based facial authentication access control terminal BioStation 3, an AI plugin for detecting abnormal behavior, and the video analytics AI module Q-Vision Pro.

At the Intersec 2026 venue, Suprema unveiled for the first time two new access control devices slated for release in the first half of 2026. BioStation 3 Max is an AI-based biometric authentication terminal for facilities with high security requirements, supporting ultra-fast facial authentication and multiple authentication methods. XPass Q2 is an intelligent reader using QR and RFID, designed to ensure smooth entry flow in high-traffic environments with frequent visitor access and ticket authentication.

Leveraging this exhibition, Suprema plans to strengthen its business foundation in the Middle East market while pursuing business expansion into Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), India, and Asia.

Chief Executive Kim Han-cheol of Suprema said, "Through Intersec 2026, we will continue to strengthen in the global market our AI-based access control technology and the competitiveness of our integrated security platform, both of which have been validated."
