Netmarble Cultural Foundation said on the 9th that it appointed Netmarble Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Do Gi-uk as its new chief.
Do, the new chief, will serve concurrently as Netmarble CFO and head of the foundation. From 2017 to 2022, Do served as Netmarble CFO, and from 2022 to 2023, Do was Netmarble co-CEO, overseeing groupwide management with then-CEO Kwon Young-sik. Starting in 2024, Do stepped down from the CEO role, returned as CFO, and has overseen finance.
Launched in 2018, Netmarble Cultural Foundation has carried out a range of social contribution activities aimed at expanding a healthy game culture, fostering future talent, and spreading a culture of sharing.
Last year, it also opened the Netmarble Game Museum at its headquarters in Guro District, Seoul.
