Xiaomi Korea said on the 9th that it is launching a price discount promotion for its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
The event runs from the 9th to the 15th. The regular price of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is 1,699,000 won, but it will be lowered to 1,299,000 won for one week. The discount alone is 400,000 won. Purchases can be made at mi.com and all Xiaomi Store locations.
Earlier, on the 7th, Xiaomi Korea said it began the "life shot campaign" on the 6th. The campaign invites users to share "life shots" taken with Xiaomi smartphones on Instagram, and selected participants will receive small goods through a drawing.
The life shot campaign began after President Lee Jae-myung recently took a "selfie" with a Xiaomi smartphone he received as a gift from Chinese President Xi Jinping. On the 5th, a selfie taken with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was posted on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the president of the Republic of Korea. Posted with the captions, "The image quality is certain," and, "I captured a life shot with the smartphone gifted in Gyeongju," the selfie drew attention as a representative example of Xiaomi's latest smartphone technology. The smartphone in question was delivered as an official gift among heads of state at an international event held in Nov. 2025.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 32MP front camera that captures even fine details clearly, and supports an f/2.0 aperture and a 90-degree wide-angle field of view (FOV), making it optimized for group selfies. The device boasts further enhanced camera performance through collaboration with Leica.
