Samsung Electronics on the 8th unveiled the ambassadors for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics, "Team Samsung Galaxy," and the campaign message "Open always wins." Since the 1998 Nagano Olympics, Samsung Electronics has served as an official Olympic partner for nearly 30 years, helping athletes and fans communicate and enabling the world to be connected as one through consolidation.
Team Samsung Galaxy will consist of 68 athletes from 17 countries and will be the largest in Winter Olympic history. Centered on three values—an open mind, new perspectives and self-expression—the team will deliver the campaign message to fans around the world. The campaign message "Open always wins" emphasizes "openness," which recognizes differences without discrimination and creates greater possibilities through cooperation.
Following the 2024 Paris Olympics, Samsung Electronics will continue its partnership campaign at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, spreading the message that "if everyone collaborates with an open mind and takes on challenges, they can unlock infinite possibilities." The team will include athletes from a range of events, including ▲ short track ▲ snowboard ▲ bobsleigh, and Korean athletes Kim Gil-ri, Lim Jong-eon, Choi Ga-on, Chey Min-jung and Hwang Dae-heon were included.
