NHN Cloud said on the 8th that through its messaging solution "NHN Notification," it supported the sending of 15 billion customer messages over the course of 2025.
NHN Notification is a cloud-based solution that provides sending and management of messages across various customer communication channels, including KakaoTalk business messages, SMS, international SMS, push, email and RCS. Built to flexibly scale infrastructure according to volume, it offers operational efficiency compared with on-premises systems.
According to NHN Cloud, the number of messages sent in 2025 increased 8% from a year earlier to 15 billion. Of that, KakaoTalk business message volume rose more than 50% on-year. This was analyzed as a result of proactively developing to meet the changed specifications during the KakaoTalk business message channel overhaul.
The growth of Notification Hub, launched in 2024, also stood out. The number of Notification Hub customers more than doubled from a year earlier, and since launch NHN Cloud has carried out a total of 26 updates reflecting customer feedback, including adding an image layout feature and advancing MMS templates.
Based on these improvements, the 2025 customer satisfaction survey showed higher scores than a year earlier in most categories, including product lineup, product features, sending quality and stability and security, customer support, and guides and FAQ materials. In particular, sending quality and stability and security recorded the highest satisfaction for three consecutive years.
NHN Cloud plans to launch an integrated RCS service in 2026 to support corporations' use of next-generation messaging. RCS is a next-generation messaging standard set by the GSM Association (GSMA), and as Apple iOS will also support RCS starting with version 26 following Android, it is expected that corporations will be able to send messages to most devices.
NHN Cloud CEO Kim Dong-hun said, "Operating message channels is a key factor that determines corporations' customer communication performance," adding, "In 2026, we will continue to enhance our services to provide a trustworthy messaging environment for customers."
