Naver said on the 6th that it has beta-opened a group-buying partnership feature exclusively for Smart Store sellers on its creator partnership business platform "Brand Connect." With this revamp, Smart Store sellers and creators can experience a "creator partnership platform" that spans branded content, Shopping Connect, and group buying.
Since its launch in 2021, Brand Connect has supported creators and campaign firms in collaborating to drive sales growth. After the launch of "Shopping Connect," more than 100,000 creators signed up and have been seeing results across various fields. The newly added "group buying" feature enables Smart Store sellers to work with vetted creators to run strategic operations that maximize sales over a set period.
The group-buying feature is an all-in-one management tool for sellers and creators that systematically manages every step from collaboration proposals and terms negotiations to product registration, performance aggregation, and settlement. This reduces operational resources, and sellers can find the optimal creators through an automatic recommendation system. Creators can check sales performance via a real-time dashboard and make immediate marketing adjustments.
To mark the beta opening, Naver will offer Smart Store sellers free use of the group-buying feature for one year, cover the full payment-settlement fee on amounts paid to creators, and provide incentives to top performers.
