Qualcomm said on the 6th that it unveiled "Snapdragon X2 Plus," the latest platform in the Snapdragon X series, at CES 2026, which opens in Las Vegas. It cuts power consumption by 43% compared with the transfer generation while significantly improving artificial intelligence (AI) features.
According to Qualcomm, Snapdragon X2 Plus is being launched for professionals, aspiring creators, and the general public who want fast performance, high responsiveness, excellent portability, and battery life that lasts for days.
The 3rd-generation Qualcomm Oryon (Qualcomm Oryon) CPU in the X2 Plus delivers up to 35% better single-core performance than the transfer generation while reducing power consumption by up to 43%. The integrated Qualcomm Hexagon (Qualcomm Hexagon) NPU, based on 80 TOPS of AI performance, enables next-generation agentic AI experiences and seamless multitasking.
It also supports ultra-fast connectivity through Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G, and with advanced security features of Snapdragon Guardian (Snapdragon Guardian), users can maintain uninterrupted connectivity and an immersive experience on the move.
Starting with this product, Qualcomm plans to expand the performance and experience of Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs across the Snapdragon X series, and devices from major OEMs equipped with it will be available for purchase from the first half of this year.
