Samsung Electronics will showcase artificial intelligence (AI) technology that has become a companion in everyday life at the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, CES 2026. It will load advanced AI technology into AI home appliances from Samsung Electronics, including a Micro RGB TV, refrigerator, washing machine, and robot vacuum, and reveal how AI goes beyond simply easing household chores to interact with users and improve quality of life.
On the 4th (local time), Samsung Electronics said it will set up a dedicated exhibition hall and hold The First Look for four days from the 4th to the 7th. The First Look is the integrated name for all programs Samsung Electronics runs in line with CES, including exhibitions and press conferences, and it carries the meaning of unveiling Samsung Electronics' new products and technologies for the first time. Samsung Electronics will build a dedicated exhibition hall of 4,628 square meters (about 1,400 pyeong), the largest in the industry, at the Wynn, and will run various programs, including exhibitions, a press conference, and a Samsung technology forum, under the theme "your AI daily companion."
At the entrance to the exhibition hall, visitors are greeted by a large tunnel-shaped AI Gallery introducing Samsung Electronics' AI vision and new products. The AI Gallery is an immersive space that applies spatial projection mapping technology and a surround sound system to a tunnel-shaped display about 20 meters long.
In the Entertainment Companion zone, which brings together Samsung Electronics' latest display technologies, visitors can first see the new 130-inch Micro RGB TV that Samsung Electronics introduced as a world first. The Samsung Micro RGB TV, which Samsung Electronics launched as a world first in Aug., is equipped with RGB LED elements 100 μm or smaller and a high-performance AI engine to deliver unrivaled color and contrast. The 130-inch Micro RGB TV applies a slim frame design to an extra-large display.
Visitors can also try the Vision AI Companion, Samsung Electronics TV's integrated AI platform that interacts with users, understands requests, and provides help. Vision AI Companion answers questions about filming locations or background music while watching a movie, and when asked for a recipe shown in a cooking video, it generates the recipe for that specific video in real time.
It also automatically optimizes viewing quality to suit the user's preferences and environment. The AI Soccer Mode, which analyzes scenes in real time via AI while watching a sports game to automatically optimize picture and sound quality, and the AI Sound Controller Pro feature, which separates background sounds such as commentator voices and crowd cheers to adjust them selectively or mute them, will also be on display.
In the Home Companion zone, a wide range of appliances that ease housework and provide a better life are on display. In the Highlight zone of the exhibition, visitors can see new AI home appliances that have evolved into a Home Companion that sees, hears, speaks, and engages with users. The 2026 Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator, Bespoke AI Combo washer-dryer, and Bespoke AI Steam robot vacuum come with camera, screen, and voice functions.
In the kitchen appliance exhibition, visitors can see the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator and the INFINITE AI wine refrigerator, both equipped with Google's latest AI model, Gemini. With Gemini added to the AI Vision feature that recognizes ingredients via internal cameras, the Bespoke AI Family Hub has improved food recognition performance. The range of food recognition, including processed foods, has been greatly expanded, and it even recognizes labels written directly on side dish containers. The refrigerator also comes with AI-based convenience features such as recommending dishes on its own and generating recipes.
In the Care Companion zone, visitors can find new solutions that proactively look after the health and safety of themselves, their families, and their pets. Here, visitors can see a solution that analyzes behavior patterns such as sleep status, gait, and tone of voice based on mobile and wearable devices equipped with multimodal digital biomarker technology to detect cognitive decline in advance.
