Chair Kang Jin-mo of ITCEN Group said this year ITCEN Group will be completely reorganized as an artificial intelligence (AI) solutions corporations.
Kang, in a New Year's address on Jan. 5, declared this year the first year of "Team ITCEN," saying, "We will tear down barriers between legal entities, rally the capabilities of the entire group as one, and deliver differentiated AI innovation value to customers." The strategy is to secure leadership in the era of "AI acceleration" and shift the business structure from legacy system integration (SI) to "AI solutions and services."
ITCEN Group cited three goals for this year: embedding AI into work, building a groupwide integrated sales system, and transitioning into a solutions corporations.
First, as part of an "everything is AI" strategy, the plan is to embed AI into every way of working and develop it into solutions to strengthen the AI business. Next, the entire group will build a "group integrated sales system" to provide a "total AI transformation service" that proposes each entity's AI solutions, cloud, security, and infrastructure capabilities to customers in an integrated manner. Lastly, to overcome the limits of labor-intensive SI business, the company will turn project outputs into assets, and build intellectual property (IP) and solutions optimized for industry-specific AI to maximize profitability.
Kang said, "In the AI era of intense technological change, middling skill does not work; only corporations with the best, prepared capabilities can win," adding, "In 2026, all affiliates of ITCEN Group will gather capabilities as 'Team ITCEN,' create synergy, and be reborn as a solutions corporations that maximizes customers' business value."
